Mission Statement

Joining together in fellowship to enrich our spiritual life, to stimulate our intellect, and to share in parish and community endeavors.

Being one of the oldest organizations at St. Barbara, founded in 1957 as a member of the National Council of Catholic Women, we welcome all women to join and participate in one of many commissions. Church Commissions - Sacristy, Wakes and Masses, and Women of the Year, Family Concerns Commissions, Community Concerns Commissions – Christmas for Kids, Food Pantry, International Commissions – welcoming, newsletter, hospitality and programs and Legislations Commissions.

The CCW is seeking help with Sacristan Tasks: What is needed at this time is help with: Setting up and cleaning of the “dishes” after daily (8 am) Mass Monday – Saturday -Caring for the plants and flowers…watering, dead heading, etc. -Washing of purificators, towels, and other items as needed. CCW organizes this, but you do not need to be a member of CCW or female. So…Members, Non-Members, and males are welcome to lend a hand with these important tasks. Vacations and illness leaves us shorthanded occasionally… having volunteers that are trained and able to help out will be GREAT!!! If able to serve or want more info please give Dorothy Ball a call or contact us at the Parish Office. THANK YOU!!!
