Restocking the St. Barbara Food Pantry
The next collection for the pantry will be Sunday, May 22nd, from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at the entrance of the St. Louise de Marillac Church.
Topping the most needed items list are: Bottled water, canned meals, canned tuna, canned meats, peanut butter, jelly, canned soups, boxed mac’n cheese, boxed dinner “sides” such as Knorr noodle mixes and Rice-a-Roni, instant mashed potatoes, and healthy snacks for children.
Non-perishable food items always in need are: rice, pastas and sauces, all canned fruits and vegetables, dried beans, and bottled or canned juices.
Monetary donations are greatly appreciated, and checks should be payable to the St. Barbara Food Pantry. No donation is too small.
The ongoing effort to keep the St. Barbara Food Pantry stocked would not be possible without the sacrifice and support of the parishioners and friends of Holy Guardian Angels Parish as well as the commitment of the many Sunday and Monday volunteers who collect, sort and deliver the food to the panty. THANK YOU TO ALL!!!
There will continue to be two food pantry collections each month throughout the summer.
Please mark your calendars for these Food Pantry June collection dates: June 5th , and June 19th, 2022.
