CATECHISTS 2022-2023
NEEDED: Catechists, Room Aides, Substitute Catechists, Office Aides, Translation Assistance.
Religious Education is a Ministry of our Parish and therefore our Catechists are not paid staff. It takes many volunteers to help make our program run efficiently. Volunteer Catechists and Mentors are the heart and soul of our ministry. Without our amazing volunteers, our ministry would be impossible. We are in need of Catechists to continue leading our young people to Jesus and His Church.
Please let us know if you are interested in being a part of this Ministry and we will reach out to you with more information. Catechist and Volunteers receive training and support and are provided tuition discounts as a gift for their time.
(Please note: All Volunteers must complete a Volunteer Service Application, Illinois Mandated Reporter Training, Virtus Training and agree to a Criminal History Background Check all provided complimentary through the Archdiocese.)

Catechists meet weekly with their assigned class on either Sunday or Wednesday. There is a monthly training meeting on Tuesday evenings 1x a month.
